Frequently Asked Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. What is a buyer's premium?

A. This is an amount added to the bid price of each item. It is retained by the auction house and is used to supply staff, security, advertising, bidder paddles, catalogues etc.

Q. Why do you need all my information?
Why do you need my driver's license number?
Why do you need to see picture ID?

A. When you register, you are signing a legally binding contract agreeing to our terms and conditions of sale. When signing a contract, you must provide identification so we know you are who you say you are on the registration form.

We also need to see picture ID to verify your signature as well. We use your driver's license number for your unique customer number in our customer database. It's a number that no one but you can have and it's something you should always have with you. We never sell the information to telemarketers or anyone else.

Q. I can't understand what the auctioneer is saying. What do I do?

A. Our best suggestion is to take a few minutes and listen to the auctioneer before any items you want to bid on are up for sale. Once you listen to the auctioneer and get used to his "rhythm" and how he sells items, you can generally start to hear what he is saying.
